Mariposa Ingredients:
Basil |
BASIL AND GARLIC INFUSED OLIVE OIL

1/3 to 1/2 C roughly chopped Mariposa Farms Fresh Basil 1 C mild olive oil2 cloves garlic |
| Follow directions for making herbal oil. Use Mariposa Farms Fresh Basil for the
herb portion. Add 2 cloves garlic peeled and halved to the oil while cooking.
Follow the rest of the recipe as indicated. Herbal Oil Recipe Use 1/3 to 1/2 C roughly chopped herbs (washed and thoroughly dried) per 1 C mild olive oil. Combine ingredients in a slow cooker. Infuse oil on "high" heat setting, uncovered for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Let cool. Strain herbs before storing oil in sterilized jars. Oil will last up to one month in refrigerator. |
