BACON & DILL CORNBREAD

1 C flour 1 C yellow cornmeal 1/2 C sugar 1 tbsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 8 slices crisp cooked bacon--crumbled 2 tbsp Mariposa Farms Baby Dill--finely chopped 1 C milk 1/4 C butter--melted 1 egg |
| Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a bowl combine the first 5 ingredients. Add crumbled bacon and dill, and mix thoroughly. In another bowl mix the milk, oil, and egg until well blended. Stir the liquid into the cornmeal mixture until just combined. Spoon the batter into a greased 8" x 8" square pan. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. |
