BRIE WITH EDIBLE FLOWERS

Wash and dry flowers carefully before using. Flatten flowers carefully by placing between 2 paper towels and placing a heavy book on top of them for 15-30 minutes. Add other Mariposa Farms herb leaves such as Tarragon or Sage for decoration. 2 C dry white wine 1 pkg unflavored gelatin 1 large round brie 1 pkg Mariposa Farms Edible Flowers In a saucepan combine gelatin and white wine. Set aside 5 minutes to allow the gelatin to soften. Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally to dissolve gelatin. Place the pan in a bowl of ice water. Stir occasionally. |
| Meanwhile, place the brie on a rack over waxed paper. When the gelatin mixture
begins to thicken spoon a thin layer over the top. Arrange flowers on top,
pressing gently into gelatin mixture. Refrigerate until gelatin is firm.
Continue adding layers of gelatin and cooling until the flower petals are
completely covered. Serve with French bread or crackers. |
